There will be 3 workshops you can sign up for. The two workshops open to the public are being done on 2 days, 3/22 and 3/30. How I Got My Mojo Back! About this event – You will learn about how I discovered the joy of making modern quilts. Whether you’re a beginner or an experienced quilter, this workshop offers an opportunity to participate in a Community Quilt to be displayed at the Kentucky State Fair in August 2024. Each participant will be given a 10”quilt block to write their names on and stitch together for this Quilt-As-You-Go community project. The presentation and workshop are open to all ages. Quilt Registry
FRIDAY APRIL 5 and SATURDAY APRIL 6

It’s an encore in conjunction with the Kentucky Heritage Quilt Society. We’re planning
another QUILT REGISTRY (you know, the event where we document antique (i.e. before 1980) quilts and
store the info and photos in an archive at Western Kentucky University). We’re expanding the event to two days because we already have a waiting list of 15 from last year. It will again be at the South Central Regional Library in Okolona and will run from 10-4 each day.
Please mark your calendars. Hope you will volunteer to work and get to see some fascinating vintage quilts. Or plan to bring a quilt or two (maximum) of your own fascinating vintage quilts to be documented (not appraised) and stored for posterity.

We would be happy to put your name on the waiting list if you’re interested in bringing a quilt(s).
