2022 President’s Challenge
Definition of a challenge:
Noun: 1. A call or summons to engage in any contest, as of skill, strength, etc.
2. Something that by its nature or character serves as a call to battle, contest, special effort, etc. The 2022 President’s challenge is to make a 12-1/2 inch block using fabrics of my choosing. This challenge is totally voluntary. You are under no obligation to participate, but it could be a lot of fun. An opportunity to get creative and try something new. The cost to participate is $2.50 and challenge fabric kits will be available for purchase starting at the Birthday Party in August. You may add up to 3 additional fabrics and use any block design you want, however the challenge fabrics must figure prominently in the design of the block. Other than that, there are no rules. The entries will be displayed at the Holiday Party in December. Viewer’s Choice will determine the winners. 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place cash prizes will be awarded. The more participants, the higher the payouts.
