March 5, 2020 – T-Shirt Quilts

Thanks to Barb Rumple for presenting the program on T-Shirt Quilts.  She explained the process she uses from start to finish, and shared many tips on how she addresses different issues from cutting and stabilizing the shirts to layout and quilting.

Barb shared several quilts she has made.  She used t-shirts on front and on back of this one.

This quilt has flannel ragged edges on the back.

Sew and Tell

Sandy’s t-shirt quilt has angled shirts with added cornerstones.

Bill’s t-shirt quilt

Linda’s t-shirt quilt.

New member Charlie shared two things she has made.  We’re glad to gave her in the guild!

Susan showed a necklace that can be made from the t-shirt left overs.

These are two of the many table toppers/wreaths Arlene has made.

Kim is honing her already exceptional long arm skills.  This is a whole cloth quilt she recently completed.

Cuddle Care

We will be working on cute pin wheel Cuddle Care quilts at our meeting on March 19.

Piecefully yours,

Luann
