Have you ever found yourself with a steering wheel that was too hot or too cold from the weather? Susan has the answer! These steering wheel covers were so easy to make with her meticulous instructions!
She first taught us how to make a bias binding that would lay flat when sewn to a circle. What a great skill to know! Then we sewed together our quilt sandwich, cut out the circle and crescent pieces, and sewed it all together.
The results were lovely! Thank you, Susan!
Here’s a shot of the front and the back.
Sew and Tell
A member shared this quilt which was made from the Turning Twenty pattern.
Cuddle Care
Some of the Sew-As-You-Go Cuddle Care quilts have been quilted. Thanks to Debbie and the Cuddle Care Committee for helping us learn this technique, which was new to several members.
A personal thanks to Sylvia for making Jack Henry comfortable so his mom could work on her steering wheel cover.
Piecefully yours,
Luann
